I am so fortunate to have a college degree. It seems like it will always be expensive to get one, but it is more expensive not to have one. I fully endorse community college attendance. The school I work at is on a community college campus, and our students are encouraged to take classes there. The community college offers something for everyone. Our students can take welding and automotive classes as well as upper level math courses not offered at our smaller school.
This year I am going to have my first student graduate with both her high school diploma and most likely a two year college degree.
If you are a high school student or know one check with your local community college to see if they offer a concurrent high school enrollment program. The fees are highly reduced by choosing to get an early start.

I live in Canada and our post secondary education is also very expensive. I live in a major city with both local colleges and Universities. What the student wants to study will determine what school they attend. I’d prefer if my kids stay local but I know that my daughter wants to go away to a University. She says that it’s because they offer the best course for her but it’s also the fact that she would like to try living on her own.
    These decisions are not easy
    Thanks for the post

Getting a degree in Australia is fairly accessible as the government offers loans to cover the tuition fees. You don;t have to pay back the loan until you start earning over a certain amount of money and the loan does not have interest (but it is indexed each year according to inflation). It took me many years to pay my loan off – but at least it allowed me to get the degree. I can’t imagine how hard it must be in countries where the cost is so great.

    Thanks a lot

There is so much mystery, misconception and inaccurate info about grants and accurate information is so hard to find.
I have read that a gigantic amount of the grants money provided goes unclaimed- innacurate? It is easy to imagine that it’s true given how difficult is to discover eligibility for grants, and writing claims that work.
This article is awesome because it dispels some of the myths.
Thank you. Now to read more of your articles!

If people find themselves in a bad situation they should look at all of their options before trying to file for bankruptcy. There are many different options out there to offer debt relief to people that are hurting and often times it is as simple as changing some bad habits and coming up with a budget. Even if there was a debt relief grant out there it would probably take months just to qualify for it and people that are in a bad spot typically need help right away. Great article.

I think it is important to figure out what kind of special attention and need your children might have and try to match it up with a school that offers what you are looking for your child.

    i can sign for it

I was one of the lucky ones I suppose. I just so happened to get one of those free grants and it was all because I found this website. I was reading up on government grants and funding and during my search for programs to help you apply, I found the one offered here. I quickly ordered the grant kit, and within a week had sent in several grant applications. This grant program makes it really easy to find the grants you qualify for and even better, it helps to streamline the application process. It’s like having your own personal grant consultant on your side.

I got a free grant, and it was rather easy too. I got your grant program a few months back, and I followed the instructions through and through. Within about an hour, I’d already identified about 3 grant opportunities available to me. I used the grant application assistance tools included in the kit to apply for the grant and I was approved in less than a two weeks! I was really shocked when the check came in the mail, but it just showed me that this free grant stuff is REAL!

I didn’t get just one grant using your program, I got two! I’ve got a check on my night stand for $3,000 (got approved for a grant to get me a car), and I have an approval letter for a much larger amount. With the second check that I’ll be getting, I should be able to put a down payment on the house I wanted, and I’ll have a little left over for new home furnishings. You’ve done a good job with the grant kit you put together.

I was very fortunate to have found your website. I just recently got over a drug addiction and have been having problems finding stable long term housing. I’ve been clean for almost 11 months, and still I cannot rent an apartment. I work through a staffing agency, and it will be years before I can afford to buy a home. I bought your grant package hoping that it would help. I found two grants that would help me to get a home and I applied for them both. I didn’t hear anything for 2 months. Then, when I’d almost forgotten about the grant applications, I got a letter in the mail, and with it a check for $50,000! I’m so glad that now I don’t have to worry about moving around because of my past. Now, I can build a life and start a family.

The job market has been really slack and it’s been hard to find stable employment. Due to this hardship, I decided to embark on another journey…starting my own business. I don’t know what kind of company I want, but I’m just sick of going from job to job. They can’t give me any financial security, so I’ll make it for myself. I used your grant program to apply for a few business start-up grants, and though, I’m still waiting for a decision, I’m very optimistic about it. Your grant kit takes you literally by the hand to make sure that your grant application is complete and as thorough as it can be. With the success that so many other people have had, things look promising.

My car got repossessed and it’s been hard to get anywhere. My credit isn’t the best, obviously, so I needed some kind of help. I ordered your grant kit, and I found nearly twenty different grants that I could apply for that would help me in getting another car. I’ve gotten one approval letter (took three whole months, but it came) and I just applied for another grant using your program yesterday. Once I get my check in the mail, I’ll be able to get a car, and this time it will be mine. I won’t have to pay the grant back….that’s the best part of it all.

I was pretty hopeless before I got my grant. I was about to lose my home to foreclosure and my wife wanted a divorce. Everything pretty much went up in smokes near the same time. I applied for just one grant and crossed my fingers about it. There are several more that I think I could get, but I’ve got to dig a little deeper to make sure that I qualify. Anyways, I got an approval letter two days ago, and the amount of my grant is outstanding. It’s not quite $100,000, but it’s close. I’ll be able to bring my house out of foreclosure and maybe just pay it off!

  16. Geoffrey says —

My kids’ father owes backed child support and he still won’t pay up. It’s hard for me to keep everything current and paid without the extra help for my kids. I turned to government grants for the money I needed. There are lots of grants available to parents, some for education, some for housing, and there are even a few for just general expenses. Your grant kit is helping me with the application process, so I’m confident that I’ll be approved for whatever I apply for.

  17. Margaret says —

@above…I assume that Geoffrey is your kids’ father’s name, eh?

Well, I’m ordering the grant kit today. I could use some extra cash. I’m flat broke!
